ASMED®: History and Medical-Scientific Commitment.

Since 2002 ASMED® designs, manufactures and distributes medical devices based on REAC® Technology, developed in collaboration with the Rinaldi Fontani Institute in Florence.

From research to medical device

ASMED® was founded in 2002 as the exclusive manufacturer and distributor of medical devices based on REAC® Technology (Radio Electric Asymmetric Conveyer), which designs, manufactures and distributes on international markets.

The technology comes from the research of medical researchers Salvatore Rinaldi and Vania Fontani, who for over thirty years have been studying how the environment affects human health: In particular, epigenetic stress and the mechanisms by which the nervous system, psyche and body adapt – or are no longer able to adapt – to environmental stimuli, what researchers call adaptive neuro-psycho-physiopathology.

The stages

From 2002 to the present

  1. 2002

    Foundation

    ASMED® S.r.l. was founded in Scandicci (Florence) to engineer, manufacture and distribute medical devices based on REAC® Technology.
  2. 2003

    First CE marking

    First CE certification of the REAC® CRM device. Today the BENE Mod 110 is certified ECM19MDD009 (Notified Body 1282), with validity extended to 2028.
  3. 2004

    ISO 13485

    First certification of the quality management system. IMQ certificate No. 9124.ASM5 valid until 2029.
  4. 2013

    Brazil

    First ANVISA registration of a REAC® device. Today the BENE Mod 110 is registered ANVISA and certified INMETRO through ASMED Latino América.

    Research and training

    Continuous collaboration with the Rinaldi Fontani Institute of Florence for the research and training of professionals.
